MM -- what a perfect pic. Looks like Dahli stuffing her face there with Algiers standing guard. I have lupine and daylilies and had a brown bunny, Stardust. Heh! Just paint the house slightly-peely red and it's there.

I got several gifts today, all free and courtesy of the universe :D

First, we had an exceptionally warm day that started off with clear, bright sky. Made getting up so much easier. Doggies were so happy to be out, and we had plenty of good play time in the sun.

Last night before I went to bed, I tried for a 2nd time to download the printer drivers for my new used printer. The s/w downloaded over night just fine, and after maybe an hour of frizting around...voila! A free, functional little printer! :woot:

Then I was gifted with a free, used, but *functional* wheelbarrow! My first little red wheelbarrow rusted out a couple years ago. I couldn't bring myself to euthanize it, so it's been working as a 'tarp holder' in the garage every since. Well, a couple months ago Dahli knocked over it's replacement and stamped all over the wheel. x( So for 2 months I've been pushing and dragging around a loaded barrow with a torn, ever-flatter wheel. The dry, warm and sunny morning was the perfect time to get out the w-s and some elbow grease. A half hour of work and I'd swapped the good wheel off the rusty barrow for the shredded wheel on the good barrow. Voila! One fully functional barrow and one in pieces and ready to be buried at the dump. Phew! What a relief to push a barrow on an inflated wheel for a change! :woot:

Then I was gifted with a free movie. The local theatre offers a free movie on your b-day. Usually there's only crap this time of the year, and that's all I saw on their sign all week. And then I looked it up this morning and saw Amelia had made it here! Whippee! The writing and acting feel a little flat -- no charisma whatsoever between the stars -- but the scenery, music and basic story were great :D

Heck, I even got free dog food samples at the feed store when I was picking up bird seed. :D

All in all, a lovely day.

Funny I almost painted your house red, but it didn't look very good. Flat tires on wheelbarrows is not much fun, so glad you were able to do a switcharoo.
