I can't find something

I seem to have misplaced a notebook that had notes from a conversation yesterday and research from last week. Does anyone pick up where it is?
I feel like such a ditz. LOL.

1. A few more hints, maybe?

Do you know if it is at your home or not? Last place you remember seeing it? LOL, I can do this occasionally when I lose things........do you have a pendulum? It's a pretty good indicator of a subconscious mind. I keep asking what happened to your notebook but I am getting nonsensical answers. I'm not sure why. Maybe I am in a whimsical mood.

3. Last time I saw it

I put it in my laptop carrying tote after finishing the meeting on Monday morning. I was upset at the time so I'm wondering whether I didn't put it in the tote properly.
After that, I went to my car and drove back to my apartment.
Maybe the answers you got and thought were nonsensical might make sense to me. After all, I'm now a ditz. :)

5. I was getting that it wasn't at your abode

And was just kind of "out there". But I have no idea what that means, and have a pretty spotty record with stuff like this. It's probably not much help.

4. I will check my car this morning

6. my mom is amazing in this regard, goes almost trancelike while praying...

and voila' finds whatever it is with whatever magical 6th sense mothers have. i asked if she (Catholic) does that prayer to St. Anthony, but she prays for intercession from Mary and two of her other favorite saints. well, whatever it is, it works wonders.

that said, many traditions have methods and rituals on how to still the mind, retrace one's steps, and tap a little of the mystical to find things. have you tried any of the rites and rituals your family knows? might be time to update your mental/spiritual toolbox!

I am meditating more so will go into a meditative state next time I lose something. I'm sure there will be a next time!

The notebook was in my apartment. I'm so embarrassed exactly where it was that I won't say.

10. Ok, I don't usually trust my intuition for things like this but

what flashed through my mind was a countertop, either white or with white cabinets around it. So much like a kitchen. Was that it?
