Remembering Edgar Cayce's words
I'm pretty sure it was from one of his books - that WAR will end because governments will BE FORCED to be focused on environmental conditions - hurricanes, flooding, volcano eruptions, etc.

I'm sure I read this - today it gives me some hope, not much, but some - I see it as the Universe's way of one way or the other ending senseless wars. Anybody else remember?

1. I do remember something similar...
Edited on Wed Aug-31-05 05:52 PM by Desertrose
...was it Cayce? I think so. Wish I could find all my old Cayce books but I fear they are LOOONG gone.....

I think we are really at the times I read about so many years ago and always figured were still in the future....but no more...this is *IT*....

I have a feeling this may not be our last natural disaster this year either....hope I'm wrong. Can't imagine much worse than this one...well don't WANT to imagine.....

If we need wake up calls we are certainly getting them, aren't we??

8. I have the same sense, re another natural disaster possible
I keep getting earthquake, and another serious blow to the economy.

There does seem to be an acceleration of devolution energies in the physical realm, doesn't there?

2. Hi TNOE!
:hi: Thx for reminding me!

I think I remember him predicting this, as well. It gives me some hope, too. It's strange, but I also have a sense of relief. It is now clear to me that we are beginning the hard work (Pardon the Bushism!) that will take us down the path to a greater appreciation for this earth and for all of humanity.

Several days ago, I found a beautiful quote by Cayce that says:

"Minimize the faults and magnify the virtues"

He wrote this with regard to how we should speak of others. But, it can certainly be applied to all of our thoughts about the environment and what is happening in the world.

3. Does anyone have a map of what the US looks like after all his
geological predictions come true - I saw it a long time ago, but I am pretty sure that large parts of the south were under water.

5. Here's a few more versions....
Chet Snow's map from "Mass dreams of the Future". Fascinating book... if you've never read it, check it out.

Ashton Pitre 's version with primary & secondary changes

Then there is Lori Toye's "I AM America Map" from 1983 which is fairly close to Gordon Michael Scallion's map in the post above

Also the "Freedom Star Map" of the world....

Have to admit I like Chet Snow's map the best since my town is still there. chet Snow also lives in Sedona...maybe thats why we are not below sea level. :)

10. The seas are rising.
I like the first two you posted, too, because it leaves my home intact. ;-)

We've been seaing (strange typo!?! I think I'll leave it) major physical energy shifts and events around the globe this year; shrinking ice caps, tsunamis, quakes, hurricanes, tornados...all of that energy is sure going to effect the landscape. Even knowing that, it is mind boggling to me, as I look at some of those maps, to imagine water moving past the cascade range or the sierras.

The scope of human suffering surrounding such change is more than I want to comprehend. I think that's where my light needs to be shining.

:loveya:
