Laughter yoga--anyone try it?
I went to a demonstration the other night, and it was a pretty amazing experience. I started out skeptical, but I felt great at the end. I doubt if I will join the new club starting up--once a week at dinner time away from hubby is a bit much. But if you are so inclined, check out demonstrations and clubs near you.

Why did I like it--It was fun, and left me energized. And, it was easy.;)

1. I love this idea...

I stumbled upon it several weeks ago.

I think it's brilliant. The laughter may start off as forced, but inevitably it becomes genuine, and infectious. Raises the serotonin level and all that good stuff. ;)

While in person is probably best, maybe a "local laughter channel" -- a local cable TV channel -- can start for those who can't attend in person.

:hi:

2. We end the drum class I attend
with a round of OMs followed by a laugh session.
Every now and then the leader of burning mans monkey camp stops by and does a round of the Ramayana with us and he always ends it with laughter.
Very, very invigorating and everyone always leaves with a big smile.

4. YES,YES!!! I go regularly, and may get training to start my own
group or practice. I just love it! It is SUCH a great stress reducer-like a workout-plus it's fun and you can be creative with it. What's not to like??? BTW- Was it free or did you have to pay?

5. this was a free demo
To try to get people interested in a free group. I was trying to figure out how people made money at this and I guess the best answer is at corporate retreats (???) This woman would have been great to schedule at one of those things. Even so, she needs a different paying job.

I agree "What's not to like?"
