Heads up! Astrology Zone August forecast up already
Just tweeted by Susan Miller. Guess she learned her lesson about the deadliness of putting up the monthly forecast on the first of the month--that'll make her server crash. Oh yeah, and putting a new forecast up on the weekend when her Web dude is less available!

Anyway, off you go! http://www.astrologyzone.com

1. "Off you go!"

Do you also watch Graham Norton (on BBC), by any chance? That phrase reminded me of him (I think he may be THE funniest human being I've ever seen...lol).

BTW, to answer your question from ages ago, I was never a David Cassidy fan, nor Davey (sp?) Jones fan, but Hammond DOES remind me of Davey Jones. He's just so friggin adorable to me. :hi:

Thanks for the heads up about Astrology Zone. :)

3. Actually, I don't usually

I know of Graham Norton and have seen bits and pieces of his show, but I'm not an avid watcher. However, I'm SUCH an Anglophile, and have been all my life, that British-isms kind of spout out of me on a regular basis. :D

Hammond IS adorable. I've seen the TG guys classified as "types" that fit Beatle types--Hammond is Paul, the cute one; Jeremy is John, the bold, abrasive one; James is George, the introspective one; and if pressed we could classify Andy, the executive producer and originator of the series (with Jeremy), as Ringo, the mild-mannered utility player. (Andy even has his own set of female devotees--go figure.) Were you a Paul fan? I was a George fan, BIG time, so I suppose it's no surprise that I'd be overly fond of James.

But when I was a wee girl, I was absolutely stupid about both David Cassidy and Davy Jones--I even went out of my way to see Davy star in a production of Godspell in London in 1986! (He was still adorable and still had screaming fans in the balconies.) So I can truly appreciate the Hamster's cutie-patootie-ness. It's the hair, isn't it...and the doe eyes I suppose...and the ridiculously sexy voice. I go back and forth trying to figure out who's got the sexier voice--him or James.

...I have too much time on my hands this morning...can you tell?

On edit: And at this exact moment, for some reason MG Jr. just started quoting Hammond--from the episode where they created their own electric car and named it Geoff--"We're going to craaash!" Must be for you, OGR! :hi:

5. Believe it or not...

I was never into the Beatles, not as far as having crushes on them.

Sadly, my biggest childhood crush was Donny Osmond.

Hammond taps into that same place though. ;) It's the whole package -- he's simply ADORABLE. Mark, my SO, calls him a gnome because he knows I have a crush.

Holy crap, you took your Davy Jones thing to the extreme! LOL! Wow! I did accompany a friend, in adulthood, to see David Cassidy when he starred in the tour of "Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat"; she had a HUGE crush throughout her childhood and even teen years.

I never saw Donny Osmond in person; sadly, he no longer does anything for me.

It's Richard Hammond; he's the new Donny Osmond.

;)

(For those who don't have a clue what we're talking about, Richard Hammond is in a BBC show called "Top Gear" -- I don't have an interest in cars, but these guys are HILARIOUS!)

6. LOL I'm hijacking my own thread
But I couldn't resist...cute? what cute? oh, you mean this?

LOL about Davy--actually it was just a bit of serendipity. I was studying in London for a month (ironically, studying theater), and we happened to notice that he was in Godspell. So we nabbed tickets to a Sunday matinee and the rest was history! :D I was not, however, one of the chicks who brought bouquets to throw to him at the end of the show. :P

How am I going to focus on work when I have that cutie patootie on my mind -- and on my screen?!

*sighs*

10. LOL! I thought that was something sexual....

For others not in the know, "squee" means: "A noise primarily made by an over-excited fangirl, however it has spread rapidly and is now widely spread among the web community."

Okay, I'll leave you alone now and get to work. Honest. ;)
