3. It's okay, you don't need to keep kicking it. :) |

There isn't an interest in Wishadoo as I had hoped at DU. There is tremendous value here at DU -- tons of great information -- but I'm learning that I probably won't find many to help create and nurture Wishadoo here (beyond you wonderful ASAHers) as I had hoped.
And, it's good for me to realize that at this point. :)
I think I need to reach out to groups who are truly out in the field, activist groups, as well as the spiritual community.
This has been an interesting process and evolution for me, personally, over the last two years. I initially resisted reaching out too strongly to the spiritual community. It's hard to explain, but I started off wanting to stay focused on this world...what was going on in this world, so concrete steps could be taken to start to alleviate the suffering, and then create a bridge to the new world we're all creating.
In other words, while I definitely believe in the power of prayer and intention, I wanted Wishadoo to be much more about doing, physical connections between human beings, beyond prayer. I still do.
Yet I've evolved from wanting to get all different types of people there and bending over backwards to do so, to simply putting out the call and see who comes. Those with a similar spiritual belief tend to resonate with it and connect to it more immediately than others.
Online political sites seem to be more about venting than doing and anger is the prevalent emotion; at least that's what I'm observing.
And so it is.
Then again, I could be overwhelming people and not explaining it well. It's hard for me to tell at this point. ;)
But thank you all SO MUCH for your support. I felt like I have a cheerleading squad with me in that thread!
I'll get Plan B in place.
Love you all so much....thank you, thank you, thank you!!!!

starting out slowly and building momentum
If it exploded too fast you'd be unprepared.
So get ready. Your focus is awesome and you are going to go places with this.
Maybe start sending friend requests and e-mails to a bunch of rich Republicans...see what happens

6. I would tend to agree with Tsiyu |

very true about slow build, and keeping focus.
Keeping the focus, that's always been a tough one in all venues, for me anyway.

I was referring to the group of people I was hoping to gather to "seed" it, if that makes sense.
I'm not nearly ready to do a full launch and blast of Wishadoo! (Though if something happens in the process of me spreading the word as I currently am and it explodes, I'm open to that and will flow accordingly. :) )
Before the full blast I, ideally, would like to have a large group really seed it, learn what works and doesn't, help find kinks in the system, etc.
It's that group of people to seed it to which I was referring.
I'm not concerned about Wishadoo growing and evolving once the doors are flung wide open, and I shout it to the world.
I'm indeed very focused on that and moving toward that reality.
Thanks so much!
