Cindi Sheehan chart and comments
Astrodatabank has listed Cindi Sheehan as a newsmaker and is inviting comments on her charts. Any takers here? http://www.astrodatabank.com/NM/SheehanCindy.htm

1. Cindy is a leader and self-starter...
Edited on Tue Sep-27-05 04:18 AM by Andromeda
and relies on others to follow up with her ideas. She's had a lot of press, good and bad, but has successfully remained in the public psyche because of an unpopular war and because everybody can identify with her deep personal loss of her son.

With the ruler of her Ascendant, Venus in Leo conjunct Uranus and Mars in Leo in the Tenth House of career and reputation, Cindy is a very independent person who follows the beat of her own drummer. She loves attention and with the majority of her planets in Fixed, Cardinal and Fire signs, once she makes up her mind about something there is no stopping her.

It would be easier to stop a speeding train than to slow Cindy down once she has made up her mind.

She has the sympathy of the nation and in spite of some of the slings and arrows of opposition, she goes on. She gets this strength from the support of others.

Cindy is not afraid of what people will say about her because she feels inspiration from a force bigger than herself. Whatever the source of her deepest convictions are, Cindy believes in her cause and is disillusioned with some things she's been taught in the past.

She feels betrayed by the system and her public grief is cathartic for her. If she kept it bottled up inside it would affect her health adversely as indicated by Neptune conjunct her ascendant and ruling her Sixth House. Because her raison d'etre has been so public she is energized by it.

The downside of Neptune in the First House is that it can make a person very impractical, unrealistic and susceptible to drugs, alcohol and reactions from certain medications -- or foods.

Her Moon in Capricorn limits her emotional expression and with the Moon squaring her Twelfth House Jupiter from the Third House she sometimes puts her foot in her mouth. She is not a good liar and not good at keeping secrets.

Cindy has a great deal of personal magnetism with her Venus in Leo conjunct Mars and Uranus in Leo in the Tenth House of career and reputation. Transit Saturn in Leo sitting on her Leo planets in the Tenth is causing her a deep sadness not only from the death of her son but the death of her marriage.

Saturn transiting in the Tenth House can mean some major changes in her career or reputation. There have been attempts to discredit Cindy by the other side but as long as she is open and aboveboard in all her activities she will maintain her credibility.

more later...

2. Another activist with Moon in Capricorn.
If I read your post correctly, it's in the third house, like Al Gore. I wonder if there's anything to that (as was noted in another thread, there are a lot of Moon in Capricorn types on this website and in this forum, including me)?

4. Al Gore's Moon is in his 5th Hse. conjunct...

his 6th Hse. cusp., the work and service sector in his chart. Many people with the Moon in Capricorn go into government work.

Al's chart shows his philosophy (Jupiter in Sagittarius conjunct Moon) and his desire for public service (6th Hse.)

Moon in Capricorn by itself does not preclude one to be an activist. There have to be many indicators in a person's chart for that kind of energy. Capricorn is a cautious but ambitious sign and they are usually hard workers who rise to the top through their own efforts. Most of the time they do it in the accepted and traditional way but afflictions in the chart can change or modify that energy.

By the way, if your Moon is in the 10th Hse. of your chart, no matter what sign your Moon is in, it will act like a Capricorn Moon.

Example: Your Moon is in Pisces but it is in the 10th Hse. The softness of Pisces would be tempered by the business-like toughness of Capricorn.

3. Oh, MAN. In addition to Cindy's, I read *Casey* Sheehan's chart.

Now I'm crying.

Casey was born only a few weeks after I was, and there are actually quite a few similarities in our charts. I confess, I read over the comments from the astodatabank people searching for the indications of his death in his chart, and I couldn't believe how much of my astrological profile overlaps with his.

5. It's kind of spooky when that happens,
But be cautious though when looking for death in a chart because what you see is not always death, but injury or surgery. What really happens is usually not as final as what you fear.

Death is the most difficult thing to see in a chart because the aspect can be overcome with helpful aspects from beneficial planets.

There's a saying that goes, "Why worry, it probably won't happen anyway."

7. And it's easy to see why...
When you read somebody's chart you can tell if they're the real thing---and she is. :)

9. Private/Public
I'm struck by the juxtoposition of the personal and the public in her chart - Neptune so close to the ascendant, a packed tenth house. Neptune, coming out of her first and transiting her 4th house Chiron, jumped out at me. It points to sadness and deep personal loss right now, but using her own wounds to help others heal.

Interesting how her Venus/Mars/Uranus configuration sits on B*'s Ascendant/Mercury/Pluto, and the Saturn transit - and station - triggering all of it. Also, his Saturn on her Mercury/M.C. and t. Uranus setting off her Saturn square his Mars. Something very karmic there.
