It happened again!
Today, I felt a pop in my throat chakra! :D (again, spontaneously)

In addition, I got a tap on the left shoulder beforehand. (from what or who, I don't know)

I do have a question - the chakras should be releasing ascending, correct? One wouldn't skip?

I haven't felt a pop in my heart chakra - however last night I had the most interesting dream.

I dreamt that I was in a beautiful old Mediterranean-like hotel. It wasn't on the Mediterranean, but it was on a lake/beach front.

It was a expensive one, and although I was in it, I didn't have any money. I was looking for my purse so I could purchase some gum, and I thought it might be in my room.

I tried to go back, and a chap was trying to flirt with me and win favour. I flirted back, but something wasn't quite right about him. I kept on walking, and went out the patio door and noticed so many people on the patio and on the beach. I looked up and saw that the Crab Nebula was making it's rare appearance visible on earth, and people were gathering around it.

It was whitish-golden, and had a red centre.

I went back inside, thinking I should take some pics. Went to my room and got my camera, and had left it on the table outside my room. I briefly went back in, and came out again and noticed that someone had stolen the batteries. (IRL it's a digital one, and doesn't have batteries). Somehow I suspected that chap, but thought it might be just a prank.

Anyway, there were some indistinct bits, and then my camera batteries were stolen again. I knew it was that guy, and was getting quite angry, because I wanted to take pictures - it felt like that was the only night we'd see it for quite some time (a year? perhaps even longer)

Then my camera was stolen. I could see that chap and 2 of his buddies tossing it between themselves - I was behind a glass window, and they couldn't see me. I knocked on the window, but they still didn't notice, and I laughed because there were security cameras that caught them. The next moment, mugshots of the three flashed in my dream.

After, I went out and was alone on the beach - it looked like a trail, or perhaps a road right beside the beach. I looked up and gazed in awe at the Crab Nebula - however, in the centre was a wide golden braid.

I was alone, but in the magnificence of the sky. It ended there, and what a beautiful feeling it left me with.

Could that golden braid in the centre (ie heart) of the Crab Nebula...be the heart chakra? Does anyone know what a symbol like that would mean? The braid was very important.

This is the closest I could find to what the braid looked like - on the right. It would have been gold, with very fine black shading:

Does anyone have any thoughts or insights? They would be much appreciated. :hi:

2. Hi U4ic
>do have a question - the chakras should be releasing ascending, correct? One wouldn't skip?

What you are describing of course is Kundalini. It is normal when doing spiritual work to have the centers open and the current of electricity rise. There are no rules as to how it will rise as everyone is different. You may have an open heart chakra already and so you won't necessarily feel each one. In fact some people feel only warmth and no pops at all.

I waited to answer you as I thought someone else would probably bring this up first but since it wasn't mentioned I'm including a link. Don't be led into thinking that there is only one way for this to happen as it feels different to each individual.

As for your dream, here is a picture of one persons take on the "braid" or coil referred to in ascension literature.

The coiled and dormant 'feminine' energy, refers to the vast potential of psychic energy contained within us all. It is normally symbolized as a serpent coiled into three and a half circles, with its tail in its mouth, and spiraling around the central axis (sacrum or sacred bone) at the base of the spine. The awakening of this serpent and the manifestation of its powers is a primary aim of the practice of Kundalini Yoga.

The image of coiling, like a spring, conveys the sense of untapped potential energy that will spring into action soon. For now we remember in small doses.

Kundalini can be described as a great reservoir of creative energy at the base of the spine. It's not useful to sit with our consciousness fixed in our head and think of kundalini as a foreign force running up and down our spine.

The concept of kundalini can also be examined from a strictly psychological perspective. From this perspective kundalini can be thought of as a rich source of psychic or libidinous energy in our unconscious.

In the classical literature of Kashmir Shaivism kundalini is described in three different manifestations.

The first of these is as the universal energy or para-kundalini.

The second of these is as the energizing function of the body-mind complex or prana-kundalini.

The third of these is as consciousness or shakti-kundalini which simultaneously subsumes and intermediates between these two.

Ultimately these three forms are the same but understanding these three different forms will help to understand the different manifestations of kundalini.

5. Hi OhioBlues!
Thank you for that link! :hi:

This is truly what I'm feeling - becoming whole again, and feeling connected.

I found this fascinating: This energy is also related to one's personal storehouse of sexual energy- as tomorrow, transiting Mars conjuncts my natal Mars. So there has been a buildup for a few weeks.

I think I am also potentially on the verge of The image of coiling, like a spring, conveys the sense of untapped potential energy that will spring into action soon. For now we remember in small doses.

I wonder if the chap who kept on taking my batteries is really the "Magician" in Tarot (at least mine, the Mythic Tarot). In this deck, the Magician is Hermes, ruler of among other things, thieves and tricksters - but it's real meaning is potential skills and creative abilities which have not yet manifested.

I think that will start unfolding for me very soon. :-)

3. Good information from japple and OhioBlues.
You're coming more into alignment with your divinity which is your birthright and your legacy. It's who you really are when you take away everything you use to define yourself. As j and OB say, each person is different. How you unfold is exactly right for you. As long as you do the work, you'll get results. Jai.
