NEW RULE - No DEEP questions before I go to sleep.... |
|
Just before I fell asleep last night, my partner asks "Do you ever wonder what you are doing here? What your purpose is? What life is all about? Do we just exist or is there something deeper to it?"
Well -- that set off a string of dreams that were loosely linked together..
I had enrolled in a college, went there my first day expecting to get a class schedule, but there were none available. By "chance" I overheard one student talking about a class I had signed up for -- so I ent to the classroom.
We were shown a small model of a little boat, on the boat was a glass box, inside the box we were told was a glass vial filled with sand -- (but there was no glass vial) -- then we were told to write a few pages about what it means and when the next class was scheduled. Class dismissed.
I went back out into the hallway and walked around looking for administration offices to get a copy of my class schedule.
I found myself at a sort of "carnival" ride where you sit in a car and it moves you past a fence. On the other side of the fence were people dressed up as ghouls and goblins -- they weren't in character and mostly just milled around talking to people.
Next, I was at a bar/movie theater looking for a seat, my partner was there. If I sat at the bar area, I would have to turn around to watch the movie and I knew that would just aggravate my neck/shoulder. So I told my partner that we should find a seat in the theater section.
then the alarm went off...
it was the typical who am I, what am I doing here anxiety dream... not sure what the little boat, glass box and non-existent vial of sand means.. guess I'll have to think about it and write the paper...

1. Wow, great dream -profound giving you lots of information - you obvioulsy |
|
visited "the higher realms".
It is said that when we sleep, we travel to higher consciouslness, places of learning, and you certainly did. That certainly was a dream with great clarity and explanation not only for you but for everybody.
Do you keep a dream notebook?
You really should so that you can decipher the dreams without losing the details over time.
Congratulations.

at the beginning would only remember 1 dream and it would be sketchy -- as I kept it up would remember more dreams and in greater detail
some of them were pretty bizarre..
there was one that I still remember pretty vividly -- I was in an extremely large room, the room was like the outdoors indoors -- it was spring time in the room, trees, brush, grass etc growing all around. I was on a horse and followed a path to the end of the room
there was a door, and when I "ducked" to go through it -- the next room was "summer", same sort of set-up as the "spring room" -- next room after that was Autumn, then Winter...
don't know what that was all about... lol - Seasonal Affected Disorder?

I really enjoy dream analysis. I am by no means an expert, but I seem to have pretty good instincts. I would have to know a little more about the dream, but here is my first impression.
Rooms often represent an aspect of our lives or ourselves (like houses represent us as a whole). The seasons often represent the 'seasons" of our lives. Spring = youth, Summer = teen, young adult, Fall = mid-life, Winter = old age. Being on a horse may imply you are being led around and since you are on a path, following 'the path' laid out for you.
It would be interesting to hear what you saw in those rooms.
Just my two cents. :)

basically, just saw trees, brush, grass -- things you would see if you were in a forest - with each room being a different season
rooms were very large - couldn't see the "walls" on the sides - but I knew they were there.
nothing in the way of critters or anything that really "stuck out"
