Feng Shui: Where to hang a crystal
Can any of the Feng Shui experts here suggest where I might hang a purple, 30 mm crystal?

I want to place it in my Wealth sector, which happens to be my bathroom. (Crude layout below -- not to scale. BTW the box in the upper left is my shower.)

The wall behind the two sinks is a mirror that reflects the octagonal window across from it. I was thinking of hanging the crystal in that window, but I'm concerned about the mirror and whether that would be good or bad.

Or I could hang it by the windows near the bath, but not sure where. (The ceiling above the bath is vaulted.)

Any suggestions?

Thanks!

1. according to my book (I am certainly no expert) purple is not
recommended for a bath or kitchen

crystals are powerful at moving chi, and purple is recommended for bedrooms or meditation spaces

not sure that helps, it is from my book by Gill Hale

2. Drat!
I bought it because it was supposed to be good for the wealth sector.

Sigh.

put it somewhere where you will enjoy it :)

edit to add, DH and I just spent an hour re doing our kitchen (again) for the new curtains I found for $2 a panel

we did it the first time when the first Feng Shui thread started and now I seem to love to spend time in the kitchen (i really disliked it before) and if I don't have anything to cook, I look for stuff LOL

4. i was re-reading the book I have and it says pink is not good for
kitchens....

my counter tops are rose colored and my window shades and curtains can only be called "pink"

but after the thread from Eloriel on fengshui and the work I have done in that room, I love it and spend a lot of time in there.

perhaps the "rules" are just guidelines to set you on an intuitive path to make your home more harmonious? so find a spot for your crystal and try it out, if it "feels" right, go for it, if it doesn't you can always move it to a different location right?

5. Right
My bathroom is undrgoing the same transformation as your kitchen. I used to hate that room and now I love it.

(FYI: My kitchen is peachy-pink, but it hasn't seemed to cause a problem)
