Okay, I need some help here. |
|
I was checking to see if there was a new Matthew message and it is prompting me to sign up for their free mailing list. I can't get to the messages. I'm fine with signing up for their mailing list but when I click on the link, my computer automatically opens my work e-mail program (Lotus Notes). Since I work at home and my work is slightly crazy about filtering and reviewing e-mail, I don't want to send from there.
So, what I need from someone is to tell me the e-mail address I need to send to and if there is anything in particular I need to say.
Can someone either post or send me a PM with the info?
Thanks

1. oooooooo I was wondering if he'd chime in |
|
in light (no pun intended) of the Cosmic Trigger event though my 'puter doesn't interact too well with that site either. That's why I love that the new messages are usually posted in this forum, so I can go to another computer to read 'em.
I Have a Dream probably has the info your looking for though.

2. I'm not sure what your question is, GardeningGal. |
|
If you're asking what the E-mail address is that shows when the link is clicked, it's the following:
MessagesFromMatthew-subscribe@yahoogroups.com
You probably wouldn't have to say anything; they'd probably assume that you were asking to sign up since it's an E-mail address used to subscribe. Otherwise, you could just say that you want to subscribe to receive the messages.
The messages were showing on the website earlier today. I think that it's just a fluke that they're not showing right now. Maybe it means they're putting a new message up. (It's been a long time.)
If I've misunderstood your question, I apologize.

4. Thanks - this is exactly what I was looking for. |
|
I thought that once I signed up, it would take me to the page where the recent messages can be found. But based on Cleita's response below, that may not be the case. I'll give it a try anyway.
Thanks!

I wrote a message and asked exactly what was happening and if Matthews messages would be available in the future. I will post when I get an answer.

6. I've been checking for a new message every day |
|
It's only been two days past one full month since the last message, and new messages usually pop up monthly at the latest, so I really shouldn't be so impatient, but I REALLY want an update about what's going on lately--looks like lots of other people are hungry for the same thing. And no wonder--there's so much going on these days, a little behind-the-scenes info is so helpful and reassuring.
LOL I just checked again. Nuthin'...

7. Actually, it's really been 2 months since the last NEW message. |
|
The most recent message was really just a repeat of the message that was from 2001.
Matthew, we need your wisdom right now! :(

Thanks for the help, sorry it was a false alarm. I'll be signing up for updates anyway.
