Post on HuffPo by Deepak Chopra on his new Life After Death Book.
Seems in keeping with our theme after the Matthew Books, so I thought I'd post. This looks interesting.

2. Thanks for this gem of a story
from Deepak Chopra. I forwarded it to my baby sister, whose dear husband collapsed on Wednesday. I started writing in my journal that he had died, then caught and corrected myself. He's just in a different place in the stream.

3. Isn't it great?
Sorry for your loss, by the way; didn't mean to seem flippant...but it is such a simple story. Deepak has a tendency to come off as a bit preachy in his other work (to me I mean),but I think this one is going to be very good.

4. It is great.
The story's simplicity is its strength. No need to apologize either, LD. A person has to try really, really hard to hurt my feelings. :hi:

6. comments
Did you read the comments there? It surprised me that people so doubtful of survival of the consciousness would even bother reading his post or thread.

So many people seem to think everything has to be seen through the scientific view of the world. Science cannot explain so many things.

This is why it always surprises me when someone demands that the world conform to science! If the shoe doesn't fit, they want to wear it anyway.

That was quite a lovely story, lildreamer. I am glad you brought it to us. The metaphors of the locust and the stream are really quite a lovely way to think about existence.

Cher
