Welcome to November. October’s been such an invigorating relief compared to the
previous months. Now we are in Scorpio and things are changing once again as we
head towards the HolyDays. The first half of November shows 5 traveling planets in Scorpio. That’s the story. Sun/Mercury/Venus/Mars/Jupiter. This will bring great intensity to all relationships as they will be pressured (by Pluto) to become more or decay. Scorpio inspires us to mean more, to be more. We must be careful to not only look at the timbre of our relationships but to moreover make sure we are at our best. Scorpio doesn’t put up with excuses and its fire burns and hopefully purifies.

Well, ya had to ask me about this right-wing pundit Ann Coulter…She’s not even born until December but I just have to do it now… How can anyone be SO obnoxious you ask? And so divisive? And polarizing? It’s not the fact that her Sun is in Sagittarius, and her Moon in Sagittarius, and her Mercury in Sagittarius, and her Venus in Sagittarius, and her Mars in Sagittarius (all five personal planets). As if that weren’t enough BLUNTNESS for you, try having them all SQUARE TO URANUS AND PLUTO (and in Virgo). There’s your story. Blunt enough? She happens to be the only one in recorded history that knows All Things (since the Omniscient One) and shame on us all for not listening intently at all times, and taking notes.

I had a major epiphany the other day. It “came to me.” Then I looked up the word “epiphany” and found its roots are Greek for “to show a manifestation.”
Interesting. So, I asked, “Just who’s doing the showing?” More to the point, it’s always been clear to me that the last 6 signs of the zodiac (Libra-Pisces) are in many ways the higher octave of the first 6 (Aries-Virgo). Libra has always seemed to be the Aries (its opposite sign) of the second half of the zodiac. What came to me was that it works for all of the signs. Scorpio is indeed the Taurus of the second half, Sagittarius, the Gemini of the world. Capricorn is easily the Cancer (mother) of the world too. Aquarius instead of being bent on self-expression leans towards group expression. Finally, as Virgo’s nature is to help out others on more of a one-to-one basis, this tendency is greatly broadened by its opposite Pisces whom makes it universal. Give it some thought. Now for this bulb stuck in my head.

Dr. Wayne Dyer
The, popular self-help guru was abandoned when he was young and grew up in foster homes. What astrological factors symbolized this man having overcome such great odds. And, what makes him so absolutely brilliant and insightful? He's a Taurus, but his Sun is next to vivifying Uranus which is how he can think on such a high level and gives him the incentive to share it with the world. Next we find Saturn a degree from his Taurean Mercury giving him the mental toughness to write so prolifically and his ability to bring it "down to earth." The Moon, Mars, and Venus are found together in Gemini/Cancer giving him the charisma to woo crowds - and touch them deeply.
And you knew it had to be Neptune. That's always the planet that urges us towards God. It squares his Moon/Venus/Mars and trines his Sun/Uranus. All sun-signs, especially the early signs, need major aspects to the outer planets such as Neptune to inspire us to transcend our basic needs. Dr. Dyer is truly an inspiration.
What brought me to be thinking about Dr. Dyer is all the recent focus here on free will. I finally found a perspective in his “The Power of Intention” book. He says, “Free will means that you have the choice to connect to Spirit or not!” That made sense. Of course, I’d forgotten; it had to be a paradox.
