3. I read this earlier and hesitated to post, but what the heck!

I'm pretty new to the philosophy that your thoughts have an impact on what happens. (This is important to the thread, so be patient!) But, I've been coming around to that philosophy gradually. This summer, I had a past life regression and a life between lives regression that sort of opened up my thinking a bit. It was a little difficult, but somewhat eye opening and so since then I have been affirming before I go to sleep every night, for the universal light and truth to shine brightly upon Washington DC as well as NYC so that corruption is exposed and that the media can't help but cover it.

This past week, it feels like it may be working. This thread makes me think that there definitely are forces at work that we don't know about, and that we just need to believe.

The longtime pastor of a Presbyterian church in Ben Avon who was the subject of a KDKA-TV investigation into what the station called "reports of public and illegal sexual behavior" committed suicide yesterday.

The body of the Rev. Brent Dugan, pastor of Community Presbyterian Church of Ben Avon, was found in a motel room in Mercer County, according to the Mercer County coroner's office.

His death came a day after KDKA canceled plans to air its report, citing concerns that Mr. Dugan was "considering doing harm to himself."

Mr. Dugan's attorney, Ralph Karsh, confirmed his death last night but declined to say how or where the death occurred.

It does feel to me like all sorts of hidden things are starting to come to light. Sometimes it's very painful, but that is the only way for our society to heal and move forward.

7. Scary stuff

It might benefit the anti-gay movement (and so, the Repubican agenda) that Haggard was outed last week. I wondered what the heck the poor congregation would do this Sunday... what do thousands of disillusioned fanatics do so close to an election? Back down? Become introspective? No, they search for something to rally around. And it occurred to me that they could go vote against gay marriage anyway, in anger over their pastor.

Last night I dreamt we fought a civil war over gay rights. There was a Battle of Chino.
