Vedic astrology predictions for the election!!! I hope this one is right!
Edited on Sat Nov-04-06 04:31 PM by OhioBlues
The November New Moon will be within a degree of Jupiter and with Venus in the sign of Scorpio in the 7th house. This is very auspicious.

Saturn will temporarily enter into Leo November 1st, where it will remain until January 11, 2007. It will also re-enter Leo and remain there until July 16, 2007.

Mars and Mercury will be in Libra in the 6th house. There will be a lot of attention given to health care practitioners. Assistance will be provided by the government to help with insurance.

Rahu and Ketu will change signs to Aquarius and Leo on November 13th. As Ketu and Saturn approach each other in the sign of Leo, there will be a leadership change in America, unlike anything we have seen before. The change will be in extreme contrast to what we have had up to this point. For instance, a black women who has emerged from humble beginnings could rise to great power. This person will be someone with a mission who seemly comes out of nowhere. They may have a history as an outcast, or they could be seen as an unconventional renegade.

2. Or, for instance, a man, like Dennis Kucinnich, with very humble
beginnings, could rise to great power. What a dream come true!

4. B*sh - 7.5 years
Could that 7.5 years be the length of his prison sentence?

"Saturn and Ketu in Leo will be in President Bush’s 2nd house approaching his natal Mars. This will be the onset of his Sadi Sati, a time when life becomes serious and difficult. It will last 7½ years. It occurs when transiting Saturn approaches the natal Moon in the sign before, in the sign of the Moon, and the sign following the Moon. Saturn in his 2nd house will disturb family happiness and cause problems with speech. He will need to curtail his speech because he will be perceived as contentious and mean. When Saturn conjoins his Mars in about a year, he will have a serious downfall and will need to change his course of action completely. This means a sense of obstruction and failure."

6. When has he not been perceived as
contentious and mean? Perhaps his Mr. Toad's wild ride is nearing an end. What a blessed day that will be. He has abused his body, mind, the nation, world and all things sacred. He has been an utter failure at everything he has touched. He is mortal, after all, and something in me tells that he will run out of rope. If justice rules, he won't go to jail. He will be confined to a psychiatric ward to live out the rest of his days. We should not wish him on our prisoners. Solitary confinement is a possibility. But in my opinion that amounts to cruel and unusual punishment. Of course he has sentenced untold numbers to that dire situation. I think Rummy and Cheney should be his cellmates. Now I'm just getting off on thinking of suffering. Not my style, so I'll stop it.

5. Thanks for posting this message of hope OB.
I'm holding my space, though, and not getting excited about the election's outcome because I know that's a set up for a let down. :donut: :donut:

7. OhioBlues,
did you see this article in alternet?

Is 2006 Another 'Year of the Woman'?

A record number of female candidates are poised to change the face of Congress. And technology is a big part of the reason why.
