A good sign for today's elections

It was kind of a personal one, but I don't think it applies to just me. Heck, I'm in NY--we'll be blue till the cows come home--so it's got to be for the good of the whole nation. That's the way I want to interpret it, anyway! :)

MorningGlow Jr. and I went to vote before I had to go to work this morning, and I was voter 33 (small town, can you tell? we have one voting machine for the whole place--but at least it's an old-fashioned manual one!) Point is, 33 is my lucky number! It gave me a great warm fuzzy feeling for the day.

That, and when I turned Jr. over to grandma he was shouting "DEMOCRAT! DEMOCRAT! DEMOCRAT!" Tee hee! (Grandma's a Dem, but auntie, a Rushbot hardcore Catholic fundie repub is gonna FRITZ! Double tee hee!)

4. Good news

Too cute about the little guy too. Hehe. There were a lot of good number of people out here too. When I came home I was just doing some things before getting on the computer and I had a very clear message that the democrats will take back the Senate. I don't think it'll be by much though but this message was pretty clear where as before it was always not as clear and still unsure. Hopefully everything goes well.

7. My repuke neighbor was VERY bummed,

because she didn't get to vote on one of those "nice, new machines." We use a paper ballot, fed into an optical scanner, so I pointed to the pencil and explained how to use her ballot. Then, I really looked at her (focused my vision) and realized who it was. Her husband ran for township office a few years back, came in dead last - thank goodness.
Hubby and I laughed all they way home.
