curse ladies
Edited on Thu Nov-16-06 08:59 AM by stellanoir
Okay.

With all this recent discussion of low level discarnates on this board, and given an interaction I had yesterday, I feel compelled to post something from my lengthy text I crafted last year and still don't know what to do with.

Please excuse any redundancy as well that particular dangling participle.

First though, I'll share what happened yesterday.

Someone crossed my path a few weeks ago and helped me out energetically. I was compelled to reciprocate. He came to visit yesterday and I gave him the nickel tour of my beauteous environs which I provide for anyone I meet and like who needs to feel a little terrestrial peace.

At one point he said, "I'm not supposed to tell anyone about this but you seem to be really familiar with this stuff."

He then told me that well over a year ago he had a reading with a curse lady. You know, the old school ilk of women who give us all a bad reputation by telling all their clients they have a curse on them.

I found her demand for secrecy to be particularly disingenuous as I would never demand such a thing nor do I believe that many can really integrate spiritual guidance without discussing it with their friends.

She has hustled him for 3 grand over the last year and was still calling him for more dough. He had been raised Catholic and was non practicing.

I saw the link between these lapsed Catholics and the curse ladies and said, "It's the oldest scam in the book. You want to go to heaven?" I out stretched my right palm and jokingly said, "Gimmee 50 bucks."

These individuals who prey on naive individuals with fear and guilt and hustle people make me want to scream.

Here's what I wrote about this phenomenon last year. . .

************************************************************
"The following excerpt will eventually be honed into the 19th trick:

. . .As to one of the many Biblical misinterpretations, one has inspired those who have wildly projected ill will onto those of the most gentle, alternative and various intuitive healing arts, based solely on the "beware yee soothe sayers of Babylon" quotation. . .

It perhaps merely applied, to some really low life readers in Babylon at that particular juncture in time. That is one of the oh so many distortions and omissions within the King James edition of the Bible.

Get this. . . For the verrry same reason that a waitperson can be wonderfully charming with a party at one table, and a "bitch on wheels" with another, no reader can read everyone. It has to do with interpersonal dynamics and synastry.

Yet there truly are charlatans in every field. I can easily totally attune to a whole bunch of folks, though be somewhat blocked, with one of their best friends for a myriad of reasons. So they don't get charged and receive a referral.

That aforementioned Biblical quotation could be possibly upgraded to "Beware, also of those old school "curse ladies" who tell everyone they see that "(they) have a curse on (them,) which will require thousands of dollars to remedy, because only (the curse ladies) are capable of burning really pricey candles for (them) "

So sweet and struggling though somewhat naive souls, walk around for years, assuming they have an affliction upon them, which they can't afford to remedy. That is, of course, until they run into me or those of similar more scrupulous orientations. :)

I've repetitively said to those sorts of folks for decades, "Look, we are all blessed and cursed from birth, as all are born into circumstances in ways both advantageous, and disadvantageous. You can do far more about rectifying your circumstances through redemptive action than those exorbitant curse ladies, and their pricey candles, could ever do." I really don't know how those women do in fact, sleep at night. Though I did hear of one who had three separate house fires in a relatively short amount of time. Gee I wonder why that happened. . .? Guess those pricey candles can get out of control or something.

I am blessed with really adorable funny and verrry talented friends, One
( http://beautifulcandy.blogspot.com/ ) was even told by a curse lady,"your aura is dark and darkening rapidly, and soon not even God will be able to
help you." "Zoinks, Scooby" one of my favorite friends thought. She and I laughed hysterically over that one, as the curse lady's malevolent projection was not true of anyone on this planet, as long as they can still
simply laugh.

My friend's cartoonish response was and is a great illustration which is really instructive of a really effective way to respond to such shadowy projections. She instantaneously & momentarily, turned herself into a cartoon and the venomous projection floated right through her and had no hook whatsoever. That is a wonderful trick of which to be ever mindful. It might just have become the 19th trick. Great humor is the best modus operandi after all. So maybe act more cartoonish and beware of falling anvils as ever. Or maybe even learn a joke in every language you can to
create greater global harmony and avoid international hassles. . ."

I'd love to hear whether others have stories to tell about these insufferable curse ladies just to raise public awareness about them.

This has been an obligatory Psychic Service Announcement. Now you may return to your regular posting.

1. So in reality low level incarnates are just as abundant
as the others.

I always like to read your work. Humor really is a life saver, Norman Cousins swore by it. Thank you so very much for all you do.

9. Or as a really ridiculous ego driven person I once knew said,
"Just because a person is dead doesn't mean they're any smarter. . ." LOL

Humor is my religion because it's universal and not at all exclusionary.

I'm pleased you enjoy my work and thanks for defining it as such. Now if I could only work out that little marketing issue without givin' it away all the time. :)

You are very welcome. Much appreciated and it's my pleasure to do so.

2. A lot of people
wouldn't get away with the crap they do if people just laughed at them. Think Bush's claim of WMDs. It was hilarious, actually, but unfortunately Congress behaved like the victims of curse ladies, and voted for war, gave away billions of dollars to make us "safer" and more and more money is being demanded.

10. would that it were so
the joke will ultimatey be on him. The Congress never frigging gave him permission to act with force against Iraq without UN approval, which he never got. The inspections were allowed.
.
This has been illegal and inhumane from the get go. IMHO

Thanks for your thoughtful response.

3. I've been to a lot of psychics, and most have been completely
honest and scrupulous. I haven't had anyone try to tell me I was cursed; on the other hand, I've had a hard time living up to some of the loftier destinies I've been told about. I guess I just keep trying!

My journey with psychics began after having several life-altering psychic experiences of my own. I began reading lots of books on spirituality and the afterlife, which led me to so many things that are the core of who I am, what I do, and what I believe. Part of that journey was in getting fairly regular readings with various psychics who were highly evolved, gifted and caring people, whose wisdom and insight I still cherish. I only went to people who came highly recommended, so that helps.

I had two readings that felt "bad", but I don't think either of them was a "curse lady." I found out later that this one man, while having legitimate talent, has a reputation of having definite mysogynist tendencies. The other was a woman who told me something disturbing about my son, and it was something I had always believed a good psychic would keep to herself.

Most recently I had a reading with a woman who is a psychic medium. It was a beautiful experience, and I really believe it was a true contact, since there were details she couldnt have known. I continue to have psychic experiences, but since most of mine have been of the traumatic variety, I know I actively supress my abilities. I am trying to work on that, with some success.

:hi:

6. something I have always wondered
Just imagine the times people have done black magic on enemy leaders, and we DON'T hear about it. Sometimes I think there may be spiritual wars going on like the "real" wars, and we are blissfully unaware. Do you think black ops are into any of this? I try to just be analytical about this, rather than fearful. I know that distance treatments for health reasons work. So, knowing that, it seems obvious that distance treatment can work doing harm. It is not my preference to engage in some sort of spiritual war, though I do hear of such things. At some times, it does seem like this is the only explanation for the actions of our political leaders--someone is using mind control on them!! They are possessed!! Whatever.......

I wonder if the White House has entities. I'm not even going to test for a yes/no on that one. Maybe we all need to form a group and clear it out before the Democrats move in when they win in two years.

Next time we fight negative entities, let's not forget that line :)

Yikes is right on black magic, all that blood and gore. I am a Virgo Asc, too fastidious to engage in voo-doo. :(

5. curse lady?
Oh, lovely. I don't think I would go to a psychic without some good recommendations. I would certainly prefer one that puts a positive spin on things. Once I did go to a psychic fair, and someone did a ten minute reading with tarot cards. All she saw was a conflict ahead between me and a male with white or blonde hair at work. At the time I was working with all women, so I said she must be reading it wrong. She was insistent. Turns out that about a month later I did have a huge problem with a board member of the non-profit I worked for. He was drunk when he gave the report I had prepared for the board meeting. White hair!! You got it!! That makes me want to learn tarot.

I am not psychic, and really have no desire to talk with spirits or get to know them or anything like that. I imagine they can be pretty amusing. Some may be really negative, and some just sort of there. A year ago I would have discounted all of this. But I live and I learn.

What I can do is yes/no questions using muscle respnonse testing. Does anyone here read David Hawkins? I'm not overly into the stuff he does, but do the yes/no stuff, and.........it works. To my daughter's amazement, we knew she was pregnant immediately, and we knew it was a boy before the doctor even could tell she was pregnant. This was a surprise, too--not planned, really. One could use a pendulum for yes/no as well. I use my fingers to test.

The idea with unwanted entities would be just to tell them to go to the appropriate plane/dimension--no getting to know them, no convincing them-- just be very straightforward. There are obviously a lot of different techniques that can be used to help accomplish this. As an example, right now there is a salt lamp in my study. I even have sage that I could light but haven't yet done that. Being fearful about this or being fearful of the entities only empowers them. Someone saying that there is a "curse" is simply using fear to manipulate people. It isn't that curses aren't real--they may be. But they have no power unless, at some level, we give into them through fear. It may be subconscious, of course.

Some people are empaths and I am not. I prefer not feeling stuff like this. I can just do a yes/no to see if they are there, send them away, and then check yes/no to make sure they understand and will comply.

Definitely I will say my work with all this stuff leaves me smiling at times.

As for the curse ladies of the world, all I can say is karma, karma, karma. I try to say that to B*** and the Republicans as well (oh, heck, Democrats too). If I find myself getting fearful of people or angry, it is just helpful for me to think "karma, karma, karma".

7. I had a tarot reader try to grift me once and she told me not to tell
anyone. I wanted her to read my palm because I was learning palmistry at the time and wanted a second opinion to verify my analysis. She refused and read the Tarot instead. Then she told me I would have to come to her once a week for consultations that would cost $50 each to lift the curse I was under. I would never be rid of the curse if I didn't see her.

Well, needless to say I did tell my best friend and I didn't go back to see her. I read sometimes later in the newspaper that the police had picked her up for swindling.

12. Luckily, so far I don't think I encountered 'curse ladies"
but there are plenty of ladies who offer special talisman of sorts and other things of questionable value - as they have seen "great luck" come towards my mother, however she will not recognize it unless she buys the talisman, and she will forfeit all her good fortune.

but I witnessed a medicine man in action who was hired to place continued curses on my friend -
this was on the rez. it's real, unfortunately.

14. Just because someone has psychic abilities, doesn't mean they are evolved.
Like everything else, the psychic fiield contains good and bad people.

16. I've encountered a couple
One was in Salt Lake City the other in Los Angeles. Both had walk in shops. The first time I didn't know how to deal with it, but I told the one in LA I didn't believe in curses, but I did believe that if you did or said something bad to someone on purpose it came back to you three times worse. I paid her her 'fee" and walked out, hoping I had put a fear of a curse to the cursor and that she would be cursing no more.
