Apparently, Mt. Misery was a plantation that unruly slaves were tortured in to break them and make them complacent.

Mt. Misery today is owned by Donald Rumsfeld the author of the Abu Ghraib and other tortures today. Could negative energies emanating from that place have influenced Rumsfeld?

The parallels in the article are interesting. From a spiritist point of view could Rumsfeld been drawn to this place by the negative vibes of his own negative and debased soul.

Any thoughts anyone?

He took in young black men and broke them physically and psychologically with extremely cruel, vicious, deceptive and manipulative treatment. Sixteen-year-old Frederick Douglass was rented to Edward Covey for one year as a young teen, he was indeed nearly broken psychologically by his ordeal under Covey.

Cleita, this is stunning and I do not think it is a coincidence.
Could Rumsfield have been Covey in a past life? I could not find
a picture of Covey to see if there is a resemblance. Or perhaps
somehow involved in that time and place??

Or at the very least, as you say, drawn to a place with similar energy
levels and patterns.

Also, it seems like the younger Bush's don't inform themselves very much about foreign countries that they invade just like dad. It's not a surprise that the street kids could take Jenna's purse (that's what I understand happened) right under the noses of the SS. These are professionals along the lines of Dicken's pickpockets in Oliver Twist.

Thanks for the info but I can't exactly say it's heartwarming. The regressionary patterns of the past several years has sickened us all.

The fact that pardoned criminals from the Nixon years and Iran/Contra have retaken control is truly mind boggling.

10. Whoa Nellie! Something I didn't know!

Our capitol building was built by slave labor. I'm watching a special on C-SPAN about the Senate. I thought I would tack this little bit of information on here instead of starting a new thread.

Between the way our country was founded, what we did to the Native Americans and African Americans, now that this tidbit emerges (they never mentioned this in history class), I believe we are getting a bigger debt in karma with the events of the last six years added on to it.

How can our Congress do the right thing when there is this vibration hanging over it?

Makes me sick. We are supposedly the riches and most moral country in the world. HA!
It isn't just the injustices that have been served up in our names, but think of the sick-o evangelists who want to blame the atrocities on gays or abortion or some other cause they oppose. They need to take a look into their overstuffed wallets and THINK AGAIN!
