Anyone here familiar with Chinese Herbs?

I'm taking some for an imbalance. I can't find any info on how long it might be before improvement (I've had the problem for several months).

I've had this imbalance (pain) for four months and no doc I visit can help me.

I finally turned to Chinese Herbs/acupuncture. I'm hoping so hard that it works, since I feel I just can't live this way forever.
