"Lightworkers?"

Yesterday I had a long discussion with a friend about the situation we have found ourselves in post-election. I told her that in retrospect it was no surprise to me that Bush "won" because a psychic told me as much last summer. The psychic said that we were soon going to enter a very very dark period, a dark age, where forces of darkness would affect the whole world. She said the peoeple who use evil to gain power will be quite strong in these coming days.

I say "in retrospect" because I worked very hard to circumvent her prediction by working my ass off to get John Kerry in the WhiteHouse.

Anyway, it was during the discussion yesterday that I had a moment of clarity: the best way to battle the dark side is to strengthen the intensity of the forces of light. It suddenly came to me that we must do all we can to keep the earth "in the light" in our thoughts, deeds and meditations. I said that we must commit to being lightworkers, a word I saw in passing here on DU, but never saw or heard before. I cannot find that thread, can anyone shed some *light* on this for me? Is a lightworker what I think it is?
