Get this--my husband is vibrating (no, this is not a sex thread!)
Yesterday he kept coming out of his office and asking if the dryer was running. It just so happened that one of the cats peed on my booties (don't ask--it's a miracle I haven't turned them all into hats by now), so I had washed them and they were indeed in the dryer. I went into the basement to get my shoes. The dryer had finished its cycle--no vibrations.

So then he figured it might be the furnace. It was on for the first time this season; perhaps he was just reacclimating himself to its presence. But we turned the thermostat down so the furnace didn't kick in. No vibrations.

But Mr. MG kept insisting that the floor was vibrating.

Then it stopped. However, he felt it while he was at work today.

Um...:wtf:

1. Have you been with him when he feels these vibrations?
If so, does he look like he is physically moving?

4. I was in the house the first time
but I didn't feel anything. I went into his office to see if the floor really was vibrating like he said, but it wasn't vibrating for me. He didn't appear to be vibrating or moving in any way, either...

2. Maybe he is having difficulty grounding right now?
Has he shown any other signs of possible energy sensitivity awakening? Are you going through another level of awakening yourself? I have been reading a bit on Kundalini and there are reports of one partner's Kundalini rising triggering the other person's Kundalini. I would not be surprised if other developments likewise encouraged similar development in partners and those who live in close proximity.

5. Ooh, I've never heard of that kundalini effect before, Shallah
Thanks for that! (There's always SO MUCH great stuff to learn here on the ASAH forum! What a wonderful meeting of the minds!)

He's quite sensitive, but he's also quite curmudgeonly. He believes a lot of what we believe, but he won't admit it, or only admits it in rare moments. It's all an act, but I feel the more he pretends to be a muggle, the more he will be--if that makes any sense.

Interestingly enough, in the last tarot reading my elder did for me before I left my coven (yikes nearly a year ago now!), she told me that Mr. MG was not evolved enough to make the Shift and would not be "coming with us". She also told me I would divorce him. However, both of her statements didn't ring true for me (and that reading was one of the factors that helped convince me it was time to leave the coven). I reserved my judgment, because of course people balk at receiving information they don't particularly like in a psychic reading, but even a year on, I don't feel that her predictions were correct.

As for spiritual developments, well, he's surrounded! I definitely feel that I'm moving to higher levels all the time, plus we've got MG Jr. learning about magic, and I'm teaching him how to meditate bit by bit (right now it's deep breathing practice, shields, and brushing off his aura like you suggested a while back!) So he might pick up this stuff by default, absolutely.

Then again, I don't know why he would feel it at work too (a very "dark" place), unless he's carrying it with him.

He said he could feel the floor vibrating this morning, too, before he left for work...

8. Tune into his root chakra and see if you can't intuit what is going on
My feeling is that his kundalini is beginning to wake up, that maybe his unconscious is unsure about how far he wants to go into this energy stuff himself but is determined to stick with you and MG Jr. If you have a nice little piece of hematite ask if he will try holding it or carrying it in his pocket to see if that tones down the vibrations. If he is willing to humor you during one of those vibration moments rev up your palm chakras by rubbing them together, put them over the tops of his feet and send energy down through them into the earth for a minute or two. Many people do not have good earth connection not just in the lower major chakras but the minor ones in the hips, knees, ankles and feet. An energy worker would hold my feet like that at times when I was very spaced out by a deep healing session and was so dizzy I could barely stand.

If it is kundalini awakening remember not everyone need have a violent or dramatic initiation. The dramatic ones get the attention but many go though a slower gentler process with only occasional rocky periods. I belive that my kundalini started rising not long ago and while at first I was having difficulties the more I cooperated with the process including healing and clearing blockages in my energy the gentler the process as become.

One other thought - your husband might be a geosensitive and reacting to energy shifts in the earth in your area.

3. That's interesting. Reminds me of something I was just sharing...
with a friend.

Whenever I am EXTREMELY focused, mainly when alone and reading a good book, such that I get totally outside myself and an immersed in what I'm reading for a long period of time, I suddenly realize that things are shaking around me (rather than me vibrating, in the case of your husband). It's as though things around me vibrate. Kind of like a poltergeist effect, I suppose?

I wonder if he's more deep in thought than usual or something? Interesting.

6. Wow, you're shifting reality! Way to focus!!
When I am very very focused, I can feel the atmosphere changing around me (or rather my relationship to reality changing); it manifests as very mild concussion waves and makes my head feel loopy, like I'm about to launch out of my body in an astral projection (but I don't).

I do know that Mr. MG is quite good at focusing, but then again he was just standing in the dining room this morning, before he left for work, and he said he could feel the floor vibrating again. He says it comes and goes. Curiouser and curiouser...

7. I think you might be seeing things as they really are in those moments
everything is energy so as solid as the keyboard in front of me is there are really vast distances between each particle and those particles are constantly moving. This is especially true as the new energies come sleeting in from the cosmos shaking everything up. Sometimes I wonder if the reason humanity does not use most of it's brain is that the majority of it is needed to filter out these effects and the sheer magnificence of even the most mundane parts of creation. Otherwise we would be blissed out all the time going WOW over every blade of grass, every pebble and speck of soil.
