I am signed on from a friend's computer. Our power was shut off yesterday and will remain off until we can pay the bill.
My car payment is also not going to be paid. (there goes the newly aquired credit rating).

Sorry, everyone, I am thinking my anger at this situation was a teensy bit justified. On top of all that water under the bridge, I put up a myspace for husband's new club and have not been paid for it going on two and a half months now.

I am going to the pawn shop this afternoon. I hope to see you all again at the end of the week.

...I am so sorry to hear about what you are dealing with. I have been there. I worked my ass off and STILL went there, as you have. Hard work does *not* mean success, in spite of what "they" tell us all how it does. However hard work DOES mean you have your integrity and your knowledge you are doing your best. And I have found hard work also somehow cleanses one's soul of the anger ~ as a matter of fact the anger can spur hard work. Knowing this is almost paramount to getting through things even though this classist society tells us that "success" means having money, which is ingrained in our self esteem. In reality our society criminalizes not having enough no matter how hard you work, especially when you do not have the basic needs met. I think most Americans are programed to believe in classism but this is an illusion. Keep this knowledge about mass illusions we are told to believe, because it helps to keep in mind why we are here. When you reach the Other Side I cannot believe the first question will be, "Hey Lildreamer, how much money did you make in this life on Earth? What? You did not have enough to pay your electric bill? Eternal gnashing of teeth for you!" No it will be, "Dear Lildreamer, how did you care for your brothers and sisters? You suffered while helping others? Here Dear Child, We are weaving another golden thread of good karma into your beautiful heart!"
