1. Claudia Dikinis has mentioned that in 2006 USA Mars goes Retro

in the USA chart. Claudia uses the Sagittarian Rising chart

I use the Gemini Rising chart.

In the Sag Rising Chart Mars is in the 7th house and rules the 4th and 5th houses, in ancient astrology Mars would be the ruler of Scorpio and therefore also rule the 12th house.

If Mars is in the 7th, do we expect the enemies of the USA to back off when Mars goes Retro?

I can believe that if Mars rules the 5th of risk taking (and youth and gaming/gambling) that the incredible adventures emanating from DC might be held back due to a lack of interest of the youth who have to supply the bodies for the 6th house military.

Mars in the 4th house, as in anybody's fourth house is not indicative of peace at home...and with the Supreme's recent ruling
as to the rights of ownership of land, it certainly could be indicative of fights over land and real estate in the USA...it can also be indicative of major disruptions, fires, attacks, quakes, volcanoes in the USA.

I can also believe that the 5th house gambling/stock market goes sluggish, with Mars retrograde, slow and without energy.

Mars is energy. And the words "without energy" may be very key.

But the big question is about the 12th house. If Mars the ancient ruler of Scorpio is held back, as Claudia indicates by progression, do the secret and aggressive plans get delayed for 80 years?

As Martha, would say, that would be a good thing.

2. BUT if the Gemini rising chart is accurate

Mars coming from the first house of the chart says the will and energy of the people is held back with progressed Mars retrograde.

And Mars the ancient ruler of the 6th house Scorpio Army (and health of the people) says it also will be held back - or is that defeated.

And Aries being ruler of the 11th house Congress - may be the only bright spot in this outlook...they could be held back from doing any more damage - or is it just that they are held back; which leads to a big question mark as to how and what the make-up of the United States government will continue to be - will there still be three branches of government?
