Question?
Does the term "tween deck" mean anything significant to anyone here? It is something from a dream I had the night before Mother's Day. I'd be interested to get your take on the term. Thanks all! JA

1. Decided to give this a go, went to google and there are terms for this and ships
’Tween Decks. A term applied to the space between any continuous decks.

So, perhaps with some of the anxiety you've been experiencing lately, the feeling of drowning maybe this implies that you are on the ship and tween decks. Which could mean that you are trying to make your way up to the main deck. You're still bound by water but no longer in the water!

Do you remember anything else about your dream, besides the term Tween Decks?.?.?

Not sure if this makes any sense, but thought I would throw it out there.

3. I'm back, sorry it's so late!
On the night before Mother's day I dreamed that I was back at my old job waitressing at a Country Club, where I worked two sittings on Mother's Day every year for ten years. Five of those as a waitress, and the last five as a special food decorator in the pantry. This was almost twenty years ago. In my dream I was reporting to work, but because they had undergone a massive building addition, I couldn't find my way around. There were different rooms in separate buildings where private parties were going on, and although I ran into a few familiar faces among the personnel, and the same Chef I'd worked with, no one could tell me what they needed me to do. Every entrance to a room was blocked by something, even the stairways were blocked by "things" that didn't belong on stairways. ie pots and pans, boxes and crates of produce etc. For some reason in my dream I had my nearly 3 yr. old crystal grandson with me. Every once in a while in my searching, he'd get away from me, but I always found him safely interacting with total strangers who were looking out for him. I finally found a lovely room. It was very large, and had warm natural wood paneling, with a nautical decor. There were long low windows that over looked a large deck which in turn overlooked a lake. My feelings in this room was that " this is lovely" and I would liked to have worked in there, but it was totally empty. As I walked out of this room I looked up, and over the doorway, hand carved into the wood was the name "Tween Deck". It was then I realized that my grandson Aidan had wandered off again and went to search him out. Then I woke up!! end of dream...but the next day was a nightmare. I had been hoping and praying that I would have a good day without back pain and bathroom problems, as my kids were taking me out for brunch at a new restaurant in Litchfield. I felt OK for a change, but decided to opt out of the "buffet" and order something off the limited and EXPENSIVE menu 'cause I didn't want to stand in line. Poor choice as my family was all done eating before my dinner finally came. I had been working on my salad and rolls while they ate, and I had my coffee, so I was satisfied. when they brought my dinner my daughter complained about the slow service from the kitchen and asked them to "comp" it. Most places around here will do it, just for goodwill, but this one dug in their heels and wouldn't give an inch as my dinner was finally delivered. I told them to put it in a doggy bag seeing that we were going to have to pay for it. It's a good thing I brought it home, because I would have had to send it back had I eaten it there! The scalloped potatoes were half raw!! The straw on the camels back was on the way back to my house from my daughters (I was driving alone) a red fox ran across the road in front of my car carrying a screaming cat in it's mouth, and down into the woods!! The sight of this sickened me so fiercely that I called the local police to report it, and asked them to notify the local TV stations to post a bulletin warning people to keep their small animals in at night. (this was early afternoon when I saw it.) First time I've seen a fox in my area in five years. Have to close now because my back is hurting again! JA

5. Here's some ideas, not sure if they will be the correct response but nevertheless
Going back to a former job: reevaluating past connections in your life that gave you a sense of purpose.

Rooms blocked: perhaps this indicates a blockage you haven't thought about in your personal life, maybe even related to your health.

Tween Decks: again I'd kinda go with my first impressions, except to add that since this was in relation to an empty room that perhaps you are feeling emptiness in your life but feel at peace with the emptiness and the serenity you felt there.

Sorry your Mother's Day dinner was substandard. You should call the restaurant and complained about it.

:( Poor Kitty

6. Oh, we complained alright!
We asked to speak to the manager, who is the one who dug in her heels and wouldn't give an inch. When we were leaving I mentioned to the waitress that my husband had been a chef for over 50 yrs., and that I had also been in the food and hospitality industry. I told her that they should replace the manager, and was told she was also the owner and her husband was the chef!!! That place recieved many bad reviews that day. Litchfield is one of the richest towns in Ct. and word travels fast. It won't take long for the Karma to return to these people. And yes......poor kitty  I guess Mama fox was providing mother's day dinner to her kits! I believe there must be a balance in nature, but sometimes nature is cruel too! JA
