Update on Rick (ricochetastroman) on Friday, August 14th

[I Have A Dream]

My husband spoke with Rick today to check on his status.

My understanding is that Rick is currently still in the Intensive Care Unit but is expecting to be moved into a regular room very soon and will remain there for a few days. Most of his tubes have been removed, and he took a short walk today. He's in good spirits.

Rick said that it's comforting to him to have the ASAH team behind him.

Heart surgery is a rough procedure, my Dad has had it twice and most of his siblings have had it as well. I am so glad Rick is progressing in his recovery.

4. How much do you want to bet that Rick made sure that the planets...

were well-aligned at the time of his surgery? I can just imagine him telling the doctor that he couldn't have surgery at such-and-such a time because the Moon was Void of Course or something like that. :D
