4. No Way!
I don't trust Bush on anything... I mean NOTHING! Before Bush I had problems trusting those neocons for several decades now, but nothing is more worse than these current Bush Bandits.

(Quote):::::::::::: In accordance with current policy, the Internal Revenue Service has agreed to forward this letter Because we do not have current addresses for all affected indivuals. The IRS has not disclosed your address or any other tax information to us.::::::::::: (End Quote)

about just how many 'big brothers' and acquiring 'paying clients' there are with the ability to track us down no matter what? Thanks to another VA/Gov blunder, I'm afraid that we'll be learning more than we ever wanted to learn. Hmmm seems like AT&T used to promise it's customers confidentiality until last week as they now fully cooperate handing over customers information and call records to the Bush Administration without court orders. I'm sure we can trust the IRS to safeguard our info also. :sarcasm:

Veterans Records Tape Missing From Indy Office
Sun, 02 Jul 2006

INDIANAPOLIS—A backup tape with more than 16,000 records from the Department of Veterans Affairs Regional Counsel Office in Indianapolis is missing.

The tape, missing since May 5, had records of 16,537 legal cases and 12,349 records containing personally identifiable information of individuals.

The records contain dates of birth, medical records and social security numbers for an unknown number of veterans.

The Indianapolis incident happened two days after a laptop containing the personal information of more than 26 million veterans was reported stolen.
