200 Shaw airmen deploy to southwest Asia

SUMTER, S.C. — More than 200 airmen from Shaw Air Force Base in Sumter are heading back to southwest Asia.

The Item of Sumter reports that members of the 77th Fighter Squadron who left Thursday are part of a group of about 350 Shaw personnel headed to the region.
