Soldier dies of nonbattle causes in Iraq

BAGHDAD — The U.S. military says a soldier has died of nonbattle-related causes in Iraq.

A brief statement says the Multi-National Corps-Iraq soldier died Wednesday in Baghdad.

The military says an investigation is underway into the cause of the death.

The soldier’s name has been withheld pending notification of relatives.
