I'm wanting to feel that this is it |

I'm wanting to feel that today is finally THE turning point that will be the start of us seeing our buddies coming home.
Dunno why with all the seats the Dems have been taking I'm still feeling gloom.

1. You're in shock maybe. It hasn't sunken in yet. |

I still feel it too, but it's fading...

That's all you need to know.
I felt a bit gloomy too, because I want a Senate majority. I'm a perfectionist and a bit of a pessimist.
But with the House, we are on a roll. Period.
Yes, there's a big train wreck to clean up. But this is a massive alteration of the political landscape. Massive.
Be happy. You deserve it.

Man from way it looks we might have that snow balls chance with 51 in the Senate though.

I too am having mixed feelings. The anxiety high from a victory. The anxiety low of waiting for another ambush.
The one thing that I still keep in mind is, there were several new Democrat House seat winners who supports conservative views. That raises some suspicion.
I heard on the news the other night that Pelosi is considered a centrist. She announced that she will not pursue impeachment against Bush. That bothers me.
Bush went out of his way yesterday saying how he will work with the 'new' House. Doesn't that seem 'odd' for GW? Does anyone here ever believe that he speaks the truth.... ever??!!!
We will need to watch how this 'new' House will vote this coming year to see if they are indeed who we voted in. Yes I am still suspicious.
I still feel good in some ways but just can't trust any of this until they prove to us that they will correct all that's gone wrong. If the 'new' House moves forward in that direction at a reasonable pace, then they have my patience and support.
