Hurlburt airman arrested on child porn charges

A Hurlburt Field, Fla., airman was arrested Monday on 15 counts of possession of child pornography and one count of promoting sexual performance of a child.

Airmen 1st Class Christopher Paul Bachman, 26, was arrested by Florida’s CyberCrime Unit, the Okaloosa Sheriff’s Department and the Air Force’s Office of Special Investigation.

The CyberCrime unit intercepted the images and searched Bachman’s Crestview home in April. Authorities seized a laptop computer and an external hard drive and recovered the images.

If convicted on all counts, Bachman could face a 255-year prison sentence under new Florida sentencing guidelines for online crimes against children.

Bachman is currently in the Okaloosa County jail awaiting his first court appearance.

Not that what he did was a good thing, but come the fuck on! You can murder someone and not get that sentence.

2. I wonder what he knows about Bushwhack war crimes--is the first thought that

occurred to me. Child porn comes unbidden to peoples' computers and can easily be planted. And it won't be the first time that the fuckwads running our government have used porn to accuse, sully and silence someone. In the case of Army Captain James Yee*, a West Point grad and the Muslim chaplain at Guantanamo Bay, they charged him with everything short of treason (and threatened treason and execution), involving his files on prisoners, and kept him shackled in irons for more than two months--and when those charges collapsed, even in a military court, they dragged out porn on his computer and adultery as charges. I believe that his lawyer got it all expunged--because the entire prosecution was wrongful and substanceless from beginning to end, but, when they couldn't convict him of anything, they tried to trash him. It was disgusting.

And then there is Scot Ritter, the UN weapons inspector who cried foul in the leadup to Bush's goddamned war. He got hit with some slimy, false charge involving a child.

It would be wise to disbelieve ANY charge made by ANY agency that is directly controlled by, or potentially influenced by, the Bush Cartel. They are currently running a ridiculous prosecutorial scam through the US Attorney in Miami, trying to sully Hugo Chavez, president of Venezuela, and Cristina Fernandez de Kirchner, president of Argentina (and a Chavez alley) with corruption. The CIA caper out of Miami ($700,000 in cash carried by a Miami "business man" named Guido) was absurd enough on its face. But the Bushwhacks won't let it go. They are using the justice system to harm their political 'enemies'. Blatantly using it. So we REALLY NEED to be skeptical. We need to restore "innocent until proven guilty" as our motto. And even then--even with a guilty verdict--we have to be very careful as to presuming that the prosecution and the trial were fair. Poor people--and especially poor black people and other minorities--know this scene well--false prosecution, and false conviction. It is now pervasive in our government, and anyone may get targeted--most especially anyone who poses a threat to the Bushwhacks or to their corpo/fascist, war profiteer pals.

Does this guy know about a dirty Defense contract? Or some other crime? Is he being silenced?
