YOKOHAMA, Japan — A U.S. military ship had a minor collision with a small pleasure boat Sunday in the Yokosuka port in Kanagawa Prefecture, the Japan Coast Guard said.

The military ship, believed to be the 9,217-ton Aegis destroyer Lassen, hit the 14-ton boat, which was at anchor carrying four men fishing. No one was injured in the accident which occurred at 12:25 p.m., Coast Guard officials said.

None of the four men fell off the boat after the collision and the U.S. ship entered the port afterward, the officials said.

The Lassen belongs to the U.S. naval base in Yokosuka.
