RAF ALCONBURY, England — An England-based airman has been sentenced to five years of confinement after being convicted earlier this month of molesting a child.
In a Feb. 14 general court-martial, Tech Sgt. Ronnie Wilson of the 501st Combat Support Wing, headquartered at RAF Alconbury, was convicted of causing sexual contact with a child and two counts of committing indecent acts on a child, according to Air Force officials.
Wilson’s sentence also included a dishonorable discharge, reduction in rank to E-1 and forfeiture of all pay and allowances.
The incidents occurred at various times throughout 2007 and involved a victim between the ages of 12 and 14 at the time of the abuse, according to 3rd Air Force spokeswoman Capt. Kelley Jeter. It is Stars and Stripes policy to not identify victims of sexual crimes.
