Arkansas votes against Separation of Church and State |
|
i found this in late breaking news. there is some discussion about what if it was up to the people. but i do think if it was put to a direct vote there would be many states that vote against it. and the states that do vote for it would be used by some religious people to show how those are immoral, without values etc. http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=view_all&address=102x1249333

That amounts to validating the current reality. There is NO separation between church and state in this country, as easily observable in every public building, every public meeting, and on every banknote. Not to mention in the mouth of every politician in any public occasion. The US is just a religious state on its way to becoming a fundamentalist state.
