Dear Sen. Kennedy, a little over a year ago your nephew wrote a post pretty much blaming the republicans for katrina because they didn't ratify the Kyoto protocals. At the time I thought that that was pretty lame. I have read recently that you have blocked the construction of several windmills that were to be used to generate electricity. Would it be safe to say then that you are partly to blame for Katrina. I am sure some one could calculate how much more carbon is in the atmosphere. Now how do you spell hipprocrate?

But what a cesspool the "trusted posters" who are there first are. I know they were disgusting on Kerry posts - but they are, if anything, worse here. They are clearly not disgruntled liberals - that there are at least 2 posts with snide "drowning" comments. Reminds me that Arianna was a RW talking head before she became a leftish gadfly. I'm with you on Arianna. Why is it that former right-wingers who have seen the light seem to be held in higher esteem than those who have been intelligent -i.e. progressive- all along? Her site is an exercise in ego-stroking. No more, no less. No good, progressive politicians should legitimize her and her groupies by posting there.
