Wes Clark Ad

The only 2008 hopefuls to distinguish themselves as loyal in any way to Democrats are John Kerry and Wes Clark. Both have come to Connecticut and done events for Lamont. The rest of the field has largely skipped Connecticut, which doesn't just hurt Lamont but also hurts the three Congressional seats we're trying to pick up. Firedoglake has more on this problem. Just one factoid will show what's up - at the behest of his consultants, Obama is in California stumping for Angelides.

Someone on the thread was defending Edwards and asked for evidence of what else Kerry and Clark are doing. Clark was well-defended, but being MyDD, I was the first to answer for Kerry:

OTOH, truth be told, I don't totally agree with Stoller's premise, that anyone who didn't show up for Lamont is not "loyal in any way to Democrats." But that's typical Stoller hyperbole, imo, and the kudos to Kerry is unusual enough to be worth noting.

1. But I do understand his hyperbole - I mean, Democratic VOTERS chose Lamont
and Lieberman is really being disdainful of them and so are those Dems working to help Lieberman over Lamont.

What if Bill Bradley had decided that he didn't like Gore's choice of VP and led an Independent ticket?
