Webb hit an important polling milestone in that he reached 50%. That number makes me feel far better about this race than I would be if it were something like 44% to 42%. If our GOTV operation is good enough, you will have a new Senator, and hopefully an advocate for John Kerry. (Webb certainly owes Kerry big and he'd better deliver!)

4. It does come down to GOTV, but here is my overly optimistic view

I think Webb is getting to the point that he might have coattails. I think he is a strong candidate, and he may help my congressional guy down ticket. That race is still neck and neck. Here's hoping.
