Oh my, KOS again defends Kerry
I'm getting the vapors already. Oh my.

http://www.dailykos.com/story/2006/11/1/14746/1454

"I don't want to be around people too afraid of their own shadows to be worth anything. I want to be around fighters.

Like Sherrod Brown:

Rep. Sherrod Brown, a Democrat leading in late polls in his bid to unseat Republican Sen. Mike DeWine, said Republicans are merely trying to change the subject. "The people who should apologize are George Bush and Mike DeWine for sending our troops into battle without body armor and without examining the cooked intelligence," he said.

Thats the way you show strength. That's the way you beat back bullies. That's the way you win in America. Not by going around whining about "apologies" and worried that Rove and his Republican bullies might say "boo!"

All you hand-wringers -- grow some cojones or get the frak out of our way.

Somebody botches a joke. Big fucking deal. Laugh at those who would make it an issue, kick them in the shin for good measure, then move on."

3. There are a few things Markos has always been consistent about:
-- the democratic nature of his blog. He will not ban you for disagreeing; only the community can troll rate you out. So if you're reasonably polite, you can stay while saying he's wrong.

-- he likes candidates who are muscular. He liked Howard Dean in '04, and at the moment, he likes how Kerry fought back. No, he's not going to back Kerry in '08, but if someone stands up he's going to compliment it.

Markos has a lot of problems, and any insider Dem stuff, he'll knock Kerry down. But fighting against Rove, et al? I think he'll be there.

4. Right now I'm not going to analyze his motives
Maybe after the fact. For now I'll just take the support.

I would like to give a resounding shout of gratitude to the liberal blogs for their support in this. THAT is how to handle Republican shitstorms, not the wussy way that the softdems want to.

5. Yes, I agree. It's like the Clinton thing on Fox , too. The blogs were there
for Clinton. We need to stand together for Kerry now.
