I have been so swamped at school and with travels and stuff with the JK blog (been a bad week) that I have had time to scan quickly here but have not read in depth or posted. However, TayTay alerted me to this lovely effort and I wanted to stop by and say thank you.

Yes it has been a kick in the balls for JK and he is still thinking about just how to kick back harder, but first and foremost, you all helped so much with the pushback to Michelle Malkin and Drudge. And they know that. Being the knowledgeable and adult supporters you are helps so much and you rose to the occasion. So thanks and we're not done yet.

On the cookies: what a sweet and lovely idea and we will do what we can to contribute to the effort. I love the Vets support as well and I know he will too.

I ask you to check out Mark Barrett's post from earlier today ( http://thepremise.com/archives/11/03/2006/555 ) in order to be aware that just when we are feeling a little relaxed is when the next wave will come. Mark is a prophet as far as I am concerned, so I tend to heed his warnings.

This whole thing real stinks after all the hard work and care he put into 2006 - I wish he could come out in the last days. He didn't do anything wrong! My guess is that with the Republicans taping him every day - there was no way they wouldn't find something to take out of context. (They could find something from Ms Senator Perfect as well - but as she is not challanging Bush all that well - removing her in the last days would be useless.)


I hope the cookies and the sentiment behind them help a little.

You know, actually that makes sense as a reason for John Kerry to lay low. They probably will tape every appearance of him - looking for anything they can twist that he says to distract from the issues (all of them) they look bad at. Since John Kerry is a high profile person - he most likely gets alot more news coverage than someone who has not run for president who is campaigning so of course they target him for a smear job and it doesn't matter what he says - they'll find something to pick on.
