Did anyone watch Maher tonight?
Maher: "When they say John Kerry was denigrating the troops, Dems say: You're full of shit!"

Maher was great. If you didn't see it, try to catch a replay.

3. for those of us without HBO,
if you have any hints on how to access video of this segment (or can offer info on exactly when this appeared in the program), or know of postings on youtube or other public-access site, please pass them on. I know that bits of Maher's program do eventually show up on his website, but it doesn't look like you can watch the entire program there. . If he keeps on having these great shows, I'll have to break down and get premium cable eventually, I guess, but as of now. .

4. Bill Maher was good, but did you catch the whole thing?
It was terrible.every one else on there knocked him out. He waited two news cycles to come out with the full transcript and an explanation? Hillary Clinton was right to weed out those who are weak and eliminate them early? He allowed them to get him on this.If he doesn't know how to deliver a line, he shouldn't say it. If he was right, why didn't the other Dem's support him? Oh, and yes it was a nasty thing Bush did, but they did it to George Allen and that wasn't fair. And, the worst of all, he is done for 08.

5. Big deal - No Dem exists who can't be lied about, what Dem potentials can
dominate the series of debates, and Kerry already set the bar with at least 60million votes. They can name the Dem who goes into 2008 with better chops over an extended period of time. Let them name that person.

6. I agree
Alec Baldwin was really sad in his remarks, and then saying Hillary's remarks were appropriate, the audience even hissed at him for that stupid remark.

The pundit in the middle is just another Washington insider, my God if I was in the audience I would have yelled out, you stupid bitch, there was a press release handed out BEFORE he spoke with the right phrasing, just proves how fucking lazy the media is. Fuck her, bitch.

The republican, he's just a stupid rubber stamping, GOP talking point hypocrite.

Bill Maher, gets it. I think he was really pissed at those responses and he called Dems like Hillary what they are a bunch of wusses. I loved the answer he gave in his new rules on JK tell them they are FULL OF SHIT. I give him a 10 tonight, he was standing up for a truth teller and a fantastic Dem, John Kerry. By the way my husband's mother maiden name was Maher, I wonder if they are related, I'm going to have to look into that.

I also think that Hillary and some other Washington insiders were happy to see Bush hit Kerry and that makes me sick. It just shows that they are more interested in power then in the people. My gloves are off, I do not want anything to do with those types of Dems they are what got us in this fucking mess in the first place.

Sorry for the rant, but you know a lot of things are becoming more and more clear as time goes by, this revelation really started for me when Bill and Hillary did their pandering at Coretta Scott King's funeral service. I thought it was an act and now I know it was.

7. I have had her number for a while, but I though she would of waited
until after the elections to start knifing people. Her group wants to eliminate all the strong competion before the primaries so that she has a clear sailing on to the General. That way she won't have to waste to much money in the primaries and can save it for the general. Anyway, I will not lift a finger to support her at all. And, I will not vote for her-period.

8. The media now have a new lie going (kinda like you mention)
That is that the Kerry staff screwed up by not sending everyone the script and setting the record straight right away. That the media was "in the dark" as to what the joke was about. That is a lie. The media had the script on the day it happened, and chose not to do their jobs.

9. GRRRRR!!!
I don't think he is "done", but I also think that it IS a setback, terribly unfair but true. That's what makes the quote posted in a different thread so painfully appropriate.

10. I really liked the end
I also got so pissed during the interview with the guy who did "Iraq for Sale." I was really pissed when that reporter or whoever girl said that Kerry was finished for 2008. Oh please. They wish!

11. Why did you get pissed
on the "Iraq for Sale" interview? I'm thinking you were pissed because we are being sold out and letting war profiteers get away with it because of Bush/Cheney. Have you watched it? It is a must see.
