Who would have thought that we would take both house seats. Carol Shea-Porter had to campaign by sending chain letters for chrissake to beat and incumbent. This was a big time VICTORY.
The Jefferson - Jackson Day speech is defacto evidence that our buddy played a major role.

3. Carol Shea-Porter is also the FIRST woman ever elected to Congress from NH! |
|
You should have seen the "old boy" Republicans on WMUR TV in Manchester after the results were in. They looked...grim!
A thing of beauty!

4. BTW, I was on the phone with my NH Brother the other night |
|
and he was talking about Carol Shea-Porter. He loved her and wished he lived in NH-02 so he could vote for her. (He was in 01 and voted FOR Paul Hodes.)
Shea-Porter got the votes of a lot of folks who normally woulnd't have ever considered her, like my Navy vet brother. It was the anti-war, anti- 'stay the course' stance that did it.
Thank you New Hampshire.

We saw so many Jeb Bradley signs while driving around New Hampshire that I feared for her. Congratulations, New Hampshire!!
