Bill Clinton defended Kerry
Edited on Wed Nov-08-06 02:14 PM by politicasista
on the Tom Joyner Morning Show yesterday, saying that the "botched" joke was media spin meant to distract Americans from the real issues, like Iraq, corruption and praised Kerry for his purple hearts and didn't blame him for bringing him up Iraq, he was like why not, it needed to be brought up.

Despite Tom asking Hil to run, Bill didn't give a yes or no, and said it was her decision and just was focused on yesterday (Tuesday). He didn't call for Kerry to apologize or say the joke was inappropriate.

3. Bill knows better than that. In addition, Kerry has apologized.
I also think Hillary is still thinking about it. She obviously wants a role of leadership, but which one?

7. This is good news.
I was afraid the Clintons might try to push the "inappropriate" gaffe for a while. I'm glad that at least one of them is refraining.

10. Clinton probably remembers Kerry defending him on the draft dodging crap
and helping him with the normalization of relations with Vietnam.
