I think I'm going to have to quit my local Virginia blog
They just put up a post saying we didn't perform as well in Virginia Beach because of Kerry's "joke". WTF? I just wrote an angry comment in, also detailing how our local paper printed outright fabrications in the paper. It was taking too much time for me to write for them anyway.

So, Fedup -- what do you think? Was the joke a factor in Webb and Kellam losing Virginia Beach? Nobody I've talked to cared about it. Kerry wasn't on the ballot.

This just makes me so mad.

1. I'll put in my two cents and say, they have to blame someone
so instead of blaming the media and the repubs for a dirty low down nasty trick, they blame Kerry. It could also be said that Kerry's comments saying Bush needs to apologize, could have motivated voters in other areas to get out and vote.
Seems to me someone on that blog is to quick to place blame on Kerry. I bet he can produce no proof to back up his claim at all- it's just a hunch, based on a personal opinion.

2. The other thing is:
I drove home listening to Hannity, because I wanted to see what he had to say - he was ranting about how in spite of what is being said the Democrats weren't civil. To prove it he played a montage of Democratic statements - all out of context.

Of the voices I recognized, there were - several of Dean, Pelosi, one Kennedy .... Many of which sounded worse than Kerry's - the only Kerry one was the "terrorize one" that in context was part of an effort to get the troops out of a counter productive dangerous job (supporting the troops if yow ask me.) The point is if you follow anyone enough these statements are there. All of us probably heard that Kerry joke before and thought nothing of it. (compared to what Bush &co said of Kerry, it's innocent.)

3. Sorry I'm late responding
I got home from work today and looked at the couch and zonked out.

You know those are just a few voices in a small world of a blog. I heard a reporter on the radio this morning say something that made quite a bit of sense.

They were talking about rake winning and he said she made a short speech and the reason is because she may have won, but because of the Dems overall win, she is now in the minority and now she neeeds to actually work with Mr. Scott, for her agenda has just took a back seat.

Politics I found is ugly and while that is bad enough, I also found that some people will say anything just to make themselves feel that they are always right, and you can those types no matter if its politics or any other topic that they want to be the know it alls of.

I take those types in stride because in the end, thats all it is , is just an ego hidden behind a keyboard.
