I'm going to take a break, guys.

Hello all of you wonderful people,

I'm just thrilled to pieces that we took both chambers (Chuck Schumer just told me, so I'd say that it's true), and loved going through these elections with you and volunteering locally. But, alas, my household has suffered, so I just need to go cold turkey for a while so that I can catch up. And, yes, blogs are like heroin -- it's sometimes better to just not go on them at all for a real break. The only important thing I don't want to miss is Boston plans. Perhaps someone can PM me if there's something pressing -- but I think my general plans are in place. Flying in Sat. leaving Tues., and staying in a hotel room that Island Blue reserved. My break won't be super long, but it needs to be long enough that I get everything back to normal. After that I may lurk or comment lightly, but I just need a break from the heavy lifting kind of blogging (I just took a hiatus from my local blog, too).

Anyway, just wanted to say that all of you most fantastic bloggers totally rule and I think Senator Kerry was the top Democrat in helping win these elections, joke or no joke!! I'll be back well rested and fresh for whatever is needed to fight the good fight. And then we have Boston to look forward to!!

I completely understand what you are saying. I am off Thanksgiving week and plan on going into a vegetative state for the week. (Gee, that's after that speech next weekend from Faneuil. Gee, can you check in on Sat. morning, 11/18? I think I might need the web backup. Just for an hour or so.)

you certainly deserve it. I think the emotional strain we have all been on for the past 6 years makes us now able to sit back just a bit and breathe again. So do what you need, we all understand and we know you'll be back.

PM me anytime, and and by the way they just announced that Webb has won and they do expect a concession speech tomorrow, your work paid off, so rest and get your house in order and enjoy.
