Wyoming House Still Close
This race is only 970 votes off, 31 votes to Trauner and there would be an automatic recount. He may request one anyway. This is a scathing indictment of Cheney, he even went there to campaign. Trauner didn't run one of those centrist campaigns either. He's against the war, tax cuts, pro-choice and even supports euthanasia. Very interesting to me. Dean put some money in this one too. I don't why it's not getting more attention.

1. I was watching this
into the early morning. Thanks for the reminder! It is fascinating that this race is so close; it would be tremendous if Trauner won!

2. Any weird blips?
Did you notice if there were counties that held off until the very end, released, then had glitches. Anything like that? I forgot all about this one. I was watching Montana and Virginia once I knew we had the House.

4. That's the automatic recount trigger
31. He needs to make up 970 votes to win. Not sure if I was clear. I heard he was ahead for a while and then a county had some tabulating problems. I don't know if the absentees are in or what. I don't think Trauner will win, but I am really impressed he came so close. I hope the DC Dems pay attention. The country is NOT conservative. Rural areas just like slower, more pragmatic change. Sounds like that is how Trauner ran, like supporting the 2nd Amendment but promoting rational gun safety. We don't need to be losing these areas out west at all.

5. Exactly!

It about educating people who do vote, and engaging those who don't vote, but the result will trend left. The country is not as conservative as people make it out to be. I never understood why people don't make the connection between this and the GOP obsession with vote suppression.

Oh, I got that 31 was the recount trigger!
