Other 08 possiblities
Clark considering presidential bid
Arkansas Times Staff
Updated: 11/9/2006

Now that the 2006 elections are over, Gen. Wesley Clark is turning his attention toward deciding to run for president. Sources tell the Arkansas Times that Clark has said he will make his decision within the next two months.

Clark’s spokesman, Erick Mullen, said, “That’s true, but we don’t have a timeline for when a decision will be made just yet.”

Mullen added, “All options are on the table. Gen. Clark was the number-one requested surrogate, especially in red states and swing states during this cycle. As we travel around, in places that other Democrats don’t go, there is a clamor and enthusiasm to see Gen. Clark serve in public again. Obviously, with the war and national security at the top of the agenda, Clark is well-suited to lead the country in a better direction than it’s going now.”

Senator Evan Bayh For President?

Nov 8, 2006 11:10 AM CST

Senator Evan Bayh says he'll wait until Christmas before deciding whether to run for president in 2008.

He says he wants to wait for the dust to settle in Washington, from the election.

Bayh came to Evansville, to show his support for newly-elected Brad Ellsworth in Indiana's Eighth District.

Following the Democratic gains Tuesday night, Bayh said there's likely to be gloating among Democrats and retaliation by Republicans, both of which would slow the country's progress.

He said reconciliation will be difficult, but necessary.

4. If these guys come in, it will be an interesting season
esp Clark and Feingold -- I could live w either of them and be real happy about it.

The others leave me cold. But of course if the get the nom, I will run screaming down the street about how great they are.
