A letter to MY President on Veteran's Day . . .
Dear President John Kerry,

I know you probably don't like me calling you President, but you truly are. We know you won in 2004. So let me call you that, ok?

Anyway, I just wanted to honor a true American patriot and hero this Veteran's Day, so from this peace-time veteran to a real war-time veteran I salute you sir.

We really kicked butt on Nov. 7th, 2006 didn't we? I sure appreciate all your hard work and being a big part behind the scenes to make that happen. When "Friends of John Kerry" call for donations or send emails asking for money I don't mind. I can't give every time but I will certainly try.

Now that we have some power back in Congress, the real work begins. We must reverse all six years of crap of the Bush Administration, secure our right to vote in free and fair elections (VVPB and hand-counting --- we don't trust the machines), get us the hell out of an illegal pre-emptive war based on false/fabricated intelligence, save the environment, get-off of oil and secure our energy independence via alternative renewable energy resources, curb Global Warming, investigate all the high crimes and misdemeanors of this Bush Administration, and if it warrants it due to high crimes --- then by all means bring Impeachment back to the table, and try, convict, and in-prison all the bastards.

And now for the mother of them all. I know many people don't want to imagine it, but 9/11 must be re-opened and re-investigated again by a truly independent international commission doing real science and looking at all the evidence, not just cherry-picking the evidence that supports a white-wash Official Conspiracy Theory (OCT) published under the title "9-11 Commission Report." The findings will be frightening, but it must be done. The world has to know the truth. 9-11 gave the Bush Administration and the Neo-cons everything they ever wanted and then some. 9-11 truly was the big wedding for these criminal thugs.

I know you know what this stuff is all about. You did investigate and bust BCCI, and looked deep down the rabbit hole into the Iran/Contra/CIA/Drugs for Guns high crimes fiasco, and surprise, surprise, many of the same players are now at it again in this current criminal administration. Not only that, Bush wants to appoint another Iran/Contra insider from the CIA to replace Rumsfeld as SOS. Sir, I hope you are all over this like bees to honey. Don't let it happen.

I don't know what the big deal was with a botched joke regarding Bush, and they spun it to make it look like you were putting down the troops. You always support the troops, always. Period. And they know that. Don't let it get you down. They are attacking you because they know you are the real deal, and you're a big threat to them. They should be threated, because you are going to kick their asses and hand their heads to them on a platter. Next time though, practice the joke, and read it line by line if necessary. Don't give them ammo. No problem, it will pass.

When you run for President in 2008, Hillary does not have a chance. She is a lightening rod for some reason. The Neo-con Rethugs hate her, and she turns-off so many Republicans immediately as well as Democrats, she doesn't have a glimmer of a chance in Hell of making it. She is a very good Senator when she does her job and when she votes with a conscience. She should be happy with that. She should just continue doing a good job.

You have been working so hard and doing all the right things even when you haven't been given any credit publicly. But we know. It hasn't escaped our attention. Works are more powerful than words, and when you do it behind the scenes, quietly without a lot of fanfare or attention directed your way, in many ways it is a more powerful statement. We know who you are, and you are who you are. You have our respect and admiration. Never change that.

Keep doing a great job, and in 2008 when you run, everyone will know, respect, and admire what you do. They will all know the true John Kerry, since we all have known you since you first ran for President in 2004. We weep for what we could have had. You're our President.

Keep working hard, hold the the law to these bastards, do the right thing, never give up.

Sincerely,

Klimmer

PS, all the KerryCrats at Democratic Underground (DU) say hi! Wish I could have been there in Boston to have a beer with you then, maybe some day.

I so wished it was JK at that podium! Or at the least, Al Gore. Even though he's quacking, I still wish we had the White House instead.

6. Thanks everyone for the kind comments . . .
I took the advice and posted it up to the official JK blog.

Hope everyone is doing good and doing something fun. We have to take a break now and then, and live life.

Rest-up. We have a lot of work ahead of us.
