Lets help Senator Kerry make the interview rounds. |

Here is are email links. I thought we could send emails requesting interviews for Senator Kerry. I could not find links, for John Stewart/Comedy Central or David Letterman. 1. Oh, I think they would love to have him on; it's more strategically |
|
how he wants to do it. I noticed that he does a series of shows, and then will stay off TV a while; and then he'll do some more shows, etc., etc. However, I think it's a great idea e-mailing these people about how much you support John Kerry. It shows he has a lot of support out there, and can't be easily written off.

2. I emailed Oprah some time back - He's never been on that show and it just seems |
|
wrong. I think she has no idea what his actual record is.

4. Really? Where did you hear that? I'm very curious about |
|
Oprah's political affiliation.

5. She is a Bush Supporter. I actually saw it on TV during the 2004 election. |

7. I just googled and found nothing. I have never heard that she |
|
supported Bush before. I thought she always kept her political affiliation to herself. Do you have a link to that?
I'll tell you that when I googled her and Bush, all I came up with mostly was 2000 stuff, when she kissed him and he and Gore had gone on her show (remember in 2004, Bush and Kerry went on Dr. Phil).
Politicasista is right that Oprah is for Obama in '08. To be honest, she strikes me as an Independent -- she's knowledgeable about a great many things, but I'm thinking politics is not particularly one of them. She certainly didn't strike me as Republican or ideological in any way. She sort of seems like a swing voter. I know Condi Rice was on the show, but that was more because she, like Oprah, is a very successful AA woman. That's not enough evidence for me. (O'Reilly getting an hour, OTOH, was indefensible)

As far as her being a GOP supporter, I didn't know that. I know she kissed Bush in 2000. :puke:

8. Not according to this, though it's dated. I think she just tries to |
|
be politically correct. She also had Frank Rich on for an hour discussing the war. And she unequivocally supports Obama. http://www.newsmeat.com/billionaire_political_donations/Oprah_Winfrey.php
