Carville undermined Kerry in '04?
Yes, I know I'm probably the last one in this group to see this, because it was originally posted over a month ago. But on the off-chance that I'm not, take a look:

http://www.taylormarsh.com/archives_view.php?id=24630

It seems that Bob Woodward included some info on the 2004 election in State of Denial which points to people in the Kerry camp (McCurry, Carville) who worked to undermine him and try to get him to concede. Now I'm really interested in getting hold of a copy of that book.

It occurs to me that there is a whole lot that went on that we know nothing about. Looks like JK had enemies(traitors) in his camp who treated him very poorly. I wonder what else we don't know. I remember Larissa (Raw Story) alluding to things that nobody else knew, just a little while after the election.

What is wrong with these creeps. Putting themselves before the Dem party they profess loyalty to, and before America as a whole!

1. These things may explain part of the difference between
the excellent primary season wins and the problems of the general election.

Begala and Carville et al also propigated the ABB stuff in their public CNN roles. AB(X) was always a phrase used in the primaries and it was when supporters of several opponents wanted one of the opponents to get sufficient power to block the front runner. It makes no sense in the general election. (ie Clinton was NOT my first choice in 1992, but I never thought of spending the entire general election whining that I was ABB.

Even from what is publicly known that wing of the party jumped on the bandwagon just to drag their feet on the ground. I suspect they saw a Kerry administration as a threat to their own power - and it was - Kerry wanted nothing to do with Carville.
