It was all I had, and as he was coming around the front, shaking hands, etc., I stuck this out and said "Please Senator Kerry, could you sign this so that I can show it to my students tomorrow?"
He immediately stopped and signed it for me:)

I have a couple RALLY WITH JOHN KERRY passes like that, one from St. Louis in early October and another from Ohio in late October. The rally in St. Louis was the first time I'd ever seen him in person. I wish every person in America could actually see in in person, because once you do, you KNOW what kind of man he is - honest, honorable, just, and kind. I turned from "enthusiastic supporter" into "diehard advocate" after seeing him, because I just KNEW he was the real deal.
