wisteria and whome. :grouphug: :hi:
I don't know why I have the TV off so much (except for a few shows and movies). Everything just feels stupid, hyped up with nothing but bad news, if you know what I mean.

Seriously - works for me.
And listening to Bach. :-) Its orderliness is soothing.

4. this "ship" will right itself sooner or later. |

There is a lot of reason to hope: the Dems on the Hill are working furiously to get so many long-neglected needs met. It will take time and run into glitches here and there, but it will get done. The country is not eager to try another Republican president next time, one full of promises and hot air. Even the Repub Senators who are up next election are running for their lives from this president and his debacle. We are poised to enjoy many more years of Democratic majority, and that will do much for the country.
Too much focus on the news can get you down--I've been there. Especially cable news, which seeks to either worry us or get us mad, because then we keep watching. Watch something more neutral or else turn it off.

6. Try exercising. (Or exercising more if you already do.) |
|
Get your body moving, your blood pumping and your endorphins jumping. If you go to a gym though, just make sure you have an iPod or something with you just in case the TV channel of choice is FOX.
Feel better Sista'.

8. Uh, I wouldn't be afraid to try some meds if it gets too bad. |
|
But if it isn't "that" kind of anxiety--um, er, bad late-night t.v. and snacks usually does it for me.
